Solidus skin packaging offers a sustainable vacuum sealing solution for fresh food products such as meat, fish and ready meals. Using solid board made from FSC®-certified renewable fibres, this packaging replaces up to 90% of traditional plastic while ensuring optimal product protection and presentation.
In skin packaging, a heated plastic film is vacuum-sealed tightly over the product and solid board, preserving freshness and extending shelf-life. After use, the thin transparent layer can be easily separated from the solid board for convenient recycling.
Our solution not only meets sustainability goals but also enhances branding opportunities. The solid board allows high quality printing on both sides, ensuring an attractive and informative in-store presentation. The transparent barrier film holds the product securely in place for perfect vertical display, while an integrated peel tab ensures easy opening for the consumer.
