Cartigliano Ricerche is a leader in developing radio frequency technology for rapid defrosting and tempering solutions ensuring optimal product quality and process effeciency. Radio Frequency Thawing uses volumetric heating to thaw products uniformly from the inside out. The process is fast: from -18 °C to -2 °C in 5–40 minutes depending on the product, with minimal drip or weight loss. The heating tunnel has been designed to maximise the quality of the final product and minimise residence time. The advanced temperature control system guarantees higher food product quality. It is suitable for sensitive products as the speed and uniformity of the process reduce or eliminate product degradation, such as organoleptic alterations, bacterial growth or loss of liquids, ensuring greater respect for the raw material and maintaining its quality characteristics. Its modular and compact structure, completely washable and made of AISI 304 steel, allows for maximum hygiene and easy maintenance and cleaning. The process is continuous and highly energy efficient.
