MDF Tumblers

Processing/Processing Equipment

Information

Garos MDF Tumblers are advanced vacuum tumbling systems designed to enhance marination, texture, and yield in seafood products such as fish fillets and value-added fish portions. The machines use a specially engineered Multi Displacement Flight (MDF) system, creating a unique multi-directional product movement that improves protein extraction and ensures effective marinade absorption while protecting the delicate structure of fish. The controlled tumbling process improves binding capacity and helps distribute brine or marinade evenly throughout the product, resulting in consistent quality and improved moisture retention during further processing. A cooling jacket around the drum helps maintain optimal product temperature, preserving the achieved binding effect and supporting stable processing conditions. Garos MDF tumblers are designed with high hygiene standards and easy maintenance in mind. Their open and accessible construction simplifies cleaning, while advanced control systems allow operators to precisely manage tumbling parameters and store processing recipes. With capacities ranging from 1,600 to 10,000 liters, MDF tumblers provide seafood processors with a flexible and reliable solution for producing high-quality marinated and processed fish products at industrial scale.
