Black Sea Fisheries Bourgas JSC

Black Sea Fisheries Bourgas JSC is a family owned Bulgarian company, fishing and processing seafood from the west coast of Black Sea, FAO area 37.4.2.

Formed in 1970, the company underwent asset optimization in 2014 and resumed operations in 2015. It is situated in the Northern Industrial zone of the city of Burgas, with own cold storage and with convenient connections to road and sea transport.

Fresh fish, wedge clams and whelks are harvested in the pristine waters of the Bulgarian coasts by our boats and are delivered for processing within hours of catch.

Our main products are IQF Black Sea sprat (Sprattus sprattus), boiled frozen topshell (whelk) meat (Rapana venosa) and live, frozen or pasteurized Black Sea wedge clams (Donax trunculus). Our value added lines consists of batter and crumb coated frozen seafood, mainly Black Sea sprat, salted/marinated seafood preserves and cured/smoked fish.

The registration number of the company in the List of approved establishments for intracommunity trade with food products of animal origin is BG 0213035, with the following approved activities - FFPP, PP, CS, RW, PC, DC.

The company maintains IFS Food certification.
